In the latest video from the Salween Peace Park, civilians and leaders call for the Burma Army to retreat from their villagers and to halt construction plans for their new military road. These attempts to control Karen territory undermine ethnic preservation of land and culture.
Fears of the Burma Army forcing villagers off their land for the road construction have been met with solidarity and collective calls for the military to withdraw and stop acting with unjust authority.
