Currently, in Karen state of Burma, Burma Army is intruding Karen territories, indiscriminately fired heavy mortars, injured and killed local Karen communities and causing thousands of peoples to displaced and hide in jungle in this extreme hardship. The Army ignores Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement signed with KNU and even violates its own unilateral countrywide ceasefire declared during Covid-19 crisis. Beside, we are seeing the international communities who are supporting Burma peace process are being silent. In regard to the situation, to condemn the Army activities and urges international to take action, we, Karen Peace Support Network releases the following Statement.
